I’m Sorry

The sound of your voice

Fills me with hope

And give me reason to breathe

-

The grace in your smile

Helps me to cope

And tells me you’re all that I need

-

Emotional wreck

Extremely unstable

But I’ll turn the feelings aside if I’m able

-

Cuz’ I made you my all

but you’re just a dream

And it’s hard…

for you’ll never mean nothing to me

-

Words so simple

Become complicated

When I think of how

We could have made it

-

It makes me so mad

But you can’t be blamed

I always knew that for you

It wasn’t the same.

the hexagon/circle piece of art that you recently posted is AMAZING. Would you mind if I used it to create digital art? I will of course give credit to you.

hey thanks! I’m glad you like it, I have no good reason to refuse you so do as you will. show me what you come up with when you finish :)

what kind of tools are you using for your geometric paper endeavors

Hey! I use ink pens for my medium. I have a blue plastic coin I trace around for the major circles in my hexagons, I use a folded piece of printing paper for a ruler and I free hand everything else.

PS. First piece with colour. There was actually a process which came up with some unexpected results. Started out as a hexagon, converted that to a cube, cut each face into 4 smaller squares and slapped a circle on each (ovals with perspective). So actually there is no circle in the middle there, that’s 6 ovals overlapping. And there are no triangles, at least none that i drew, those are overlapping squares. It’s called take a minute because it’d be cool if you took a minute to look at the different things I put on there. Colour utilizes a colour wheel style which shows how colours mix together. Red mixes with yellow to get orange yellow mixes with blue to get green blue mixes red to get purples.

Dang, I really like your work. How long have you been an artist?

Emily? haha i suppose i’ve never really considered myself an artist, but i have been one for as long as people have called me one.

My friend.

Today i got to hang out with an old pal Samuel. He’s pretty much the greatest. We played games together and we had the time of our lives. I hope that he enjoys my company as much as I enjoy his.
